Data Delivery
Data is delivered via the
internet. Download speeds are very fast, in line with the
latest technology. Using DataDirector, Data is automatically
distributed for users of a MetaStock compatible database,
otherwise the data is provided in a text format which can be
easily imported into your favourite software package. If you
miss a couple of days, or go away on holidays, you are able to
back-date to the date of your last update.
Market Coverage
The service covers all equities, indices, warrants
from the London Domestic Stock Exchange.
Historical Database
Historical data can be
provided in a number of formats. Users of MetaStock and
MetaStock data compatible programs are able to install the
data in MetaStock format via a custom installation program
supplied on each history CD.
Paritech's historical data
extends back 8 years where the data is available. Some
blue-chip companies and indices extend back to as early as
1981.
The Data
No vendor can offer perfect
data, but the Paritech service takes care to ensure that its
prices are carefully checked. If any errors or omissions are
discovered, corrections are made and a message posted to
advise customers to re-download the day's data.
