Latest ASX EWO Distribution
Profile
This file is updated
monthly with any newly listed stocks that became available at the time
of the update.
PLEASE NOTE:
any Stock that has a "Last Traded" date prior to 1st January 2007
will no longer be included in the ASX EWO Distribution List

After right clicking on the "Right Click Here"
link above a pop up window will appear on your screen, from
this menu please select "Save Target AS" This will produce a new window titled
"Save AS". In the "Save AS" window it is essential
that you set the "Save In" drop down menu to the
correct
location as outlined here
and that the "Save as type" option be set to either All
files or .ptddf Document. Do not set Save as type to
.txt as this will render the downloaded file unreadable by
DD2

All ASX EWO users please note you will need to change
"Maximum Securities per Folder" from 2000 to 6000 as there
are currently over 2000 Equities (see image below)

DataDirector 2 now has the ability to download and update the
Paritech EWO
distribution profile with the press of a single button!
Before you can use this new feature,
you need to make a few changes to your Distribution Profile setup:
First you need to download the most current profile
in to your Distribution Profile folder. Even if you have the
most current, please check that the filename is "WizDL-EquitiesWarrantsOptions-ASX".
If it is not, then you need to download it.

If you know your Distribution Profile is the
correct one, you can skip to step 2
Start DataDirector2 and highlight your EWO Wizard

Now press
the "Setup" button, and tick the box marked "Expert User" and press
OK

You will now see
that DataDirector 2 has 4 buttons in the bottom right corner, make
sure that your EWO wizard is still highlighted and press the
"Properties" button.

Once the Properties
screen comes up, please change to the Distribution Profile tab and
check the "Distribution List" field for the filename.

If the Distribution
List is not set to "WizDL-EquitiesWarrantsOptions-ASX", then
you need to follow the steps "Updating the
EWO List" below

Now that you have
confirmed you have the correct Distribution List, you need to fill
in the correct details in to the "Url" field. You can do this
by coping and pasting the following address in to the "Url" field.

Once the address is
entered, you should now press the OK button, to save the changes.

Each month as
Paritech produces the new Distribution List, all you will need to do
is go back to the "Distribution Profile" tab of your wizard, and
press the "Now" button. This will download the current file
list to your computer, thus giving you the most current list
Paritech has on offer. Unless you get an error message,
consider that the download and update has worked.

It is recommended
that you delete your EWO database each time you update the
Distribution List to give you a clean setup.
PLEASE NOTE:
ANY CHANGES YOU PERSONALLY MAKE TO THis DISTRIBUTION PROFILE WILL BE
LOST WHEN YOU DO THE UPDATE. IF YOU HAS CUSTOMISED THE
STANDARD EWO LIST, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SETUP PROCEDURE.
To update the EWO folder
you will need to do the following:

Open DataDirector2 (DD2) and click on the
Setup icon at the top of the window and then the
File Locations tab

Write down the path that appears to the right of the words
Distribution Profile. It will usually appear as
follows :
If you have Windows 98 or ME
C:\Windows\Application Data\Paritech\DataDirector2\Distribution
Profiles.
If you have Windows 2000 or XP
c:\Documents & Settings\[Your Windows User
Profile]\Application
Data\Paritech\DataDirector2\Distribution Profiles.

Close DD2 and return to the EWO page

You will see a Click here link at the top of the
window. Click on this with your right mouse
button

Select the option Save Target As from the pop-up
menu that appears

In the dialog box that appears you will need to set the download
path to the directory you recorded from DD2, in step 2 of this
instruction guide. The last folder in this path should be
named
Distribution profiles.
If you cannot locate the Application Data folder
in this process, close out of the download and open either
My Computer or Windows Explorer.
If you have Windows 98 or ME
Click on the Views menu at the top of the window
and then Folder Options. Click on the
View tab and select the option Show All Files.
If you have Windows 2000 or XP
Click on the Tools menu at the top of the window
and then Folder Options. Click on the
View tab and select the option Show hidden Files
and Folders.
You will then need to return to the web page again and return to
step 4 of this instruction guide

At the bottom of the window you will see a field entitled
Save As Type. Set this to All Files
and click the Save button at the bottom right of
the window. Close or minimise the web page when complete

Open DD2 and click on the words ASX EWO that
appear on the right side of the window so that it is
highlighted. Click on the Properties
button at the bottom right of the DD2 window

Click on the Distribution Profile tab at the top
of the window, and then click on the drop list under the words
Distribution List at the bottom of this tab.
Select the file that you have just downloaded. It will be
named
WizDL-EquitiesWarrantsOptions-ASX. Click
the OK button at the bottom right of the window

Since you have now updated the profile, you must delete you old
EWO database before you copy your historical data back to this
folder to update that database. You will find instruction on
