Software Training - his course is conducted in step-by-step format,
with training manuals provided for students to keep. To
ensure that tuition is personalised and effective, class
sizes are limited.

up your Charts so you can see what you need to see.
MetaStock has a lot to offer Smart Charts, Charts, Layouts and Templates. All are
powerful tools! Starting at the beginning,
you'll run through all these elements, with
the confidence that your future charts and layouts
will always appear the same way twice, and will
provide a solid basis for more complex future
explorations. We will cover
favourites lists and some hot tips on managing your
charts.
- Working with Drawing
Objects.
The basic principle of technical analysis is that
prices move in trends and that history repeats itself.
We will teach you how to use drawing objects such as
trendlines and Fibonacci Retracements to help you
visually identify price trends and indicator
movements.
- Creating custom
Indicators
We'll show you how to format and display indicators,
both individually and in combined groups. You will
learn how to take shortcuts that will dramatically cut
the time that you spend applying often-used indicators
to your charts. We'll even show
you how to write your own indicators.
- The MetaStock
Formula language
We'll take you through the basics of the
MetaStock formula language, to show you how to build
the key systems and filters used in a range of
trading systems. Each student will get an Equis
Formula Language primer to take away, for more
detailed study of the formula language.
- Working with the
Explorer
We'll show you how to save the time and tedium of
having to look for individual "hot stocks"
by using the explorer to scan your entire database for
stocks that meet certain criteria.
- Applying Multiple
Plot Lines to a Chart
Do you want to view the progress of your stock against
the All Ordinaries Index and it's specific Index?
We'll show you how to get all this information from
MetaStock.
- Trading Systems and
System Tester
MetaStock will allow you to develop, test and automate
trading systems. You will learn how to devise a set of
trading criteria and back-test it on any stocks you
wish. There's no better way to test your trading
theories against actual market conditions. You will
set buy-in prices, stop loss limits and trading
conditions, and you'll be presented with
trade-by-trade results, showing where your system was
effective, and where it was unsuccessful. The best
trading systems are often system-based well defined
criteria for buying and selling - we'll set you on the
road to creating your own.
- Practical Examples
- You will leave the
course with practical examples of custom indicators,
explorations and system tests. You will
receive a comprehensive set of notes with some
formulae that can be added to Metastock..
